
A Domestic Violence Shelter Program Serving
Middle Tennessee Communities For Over 25 Years.
VOLUNTEERS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN THE LIFE OF HOMESAFE!
Individuals can assist the program in a variety of positions including:
* answering one of our Helplines
* sorting and organizing donations
* clerical assistance
* representing the program at community events
* community education presentations
* organizing and assisting with fund-raising events
* office and shelter maintenance
* serving on the Board of Directors
All volunteers must complete a six (6) hour Orientation Training that includes:
* How the HomeSafe program works and the services provided
* The dynamics of domestic violence
* The needs of survivors and the program
Additional training is provided for specific volunteer positions.
